George M. Matthews, II is Senior Pastor and Founder of New Life Interfaith Ministries, Inc. (NLIM), Bessemer, Alabama; and Senior Pastor of Calvary Resurrection Christian Church (CRCC), Birmingham, Alabama. He is ordained, licensed, and has pastored churches in the Pentecostal and Baptist denominations.
Pastor Matthews received a charge and commission from the Lord to begin instructing and building up the Body of Christ in the area of “the unity of the Faith,” that unity which exists corporately in Christ. He believes the Kingdom of God on Earth is comprised of a conglomeration of all Christian faiths, and for this purpose, the Church should emphasize its commonality in the Lord, rather than the lesser areas of doctrinal differences.
NLIM & CRCC are members of Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (CDMA) under the direction of Dr. Creflo Dollar, Senior Pastor, World Changers Church International, College Park, Georgia. In June 1997, Pastor Matthews was appointed to a position on the Board of Directors of the International Covenant Ministries, which later evolved into and functions under the banner of Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association. The purpose of this entity is to provide a ministerial covering for many, regardless of denominational affiliations.
Pastor Matthews is the husband of Judith C. Matthews and father of two sons, Oscar and George III, and one daughter, Brianna.

Judith C. Matthews is a native of Gainesville, Florida and is the wife of George M. Matthews, II, senior pastor and founder of New Life Interfaith Ministries, Inc. They have two sons, Oscar and George III, and one daughter, Brianna.
Pastor Judith enjoys her involvement in the women’s ministry and her overall administrative responsibilities at New Life. At present, she serves as the Executive Director of New Life Interfaith Ministries, Inc., where she oversees the daily operation of the ministry.
Pastor Judith says her greatest enjoyment in life comes from studying the Word of God. The message she feels God has commissioned her to impart to the Body of Christ stems from Hosea 4:6, “…my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
“In every area of our lives, if we are experiencing failure, it is because we have not established the Word of God in our hearts and His promises to us, the Body of Christ. Many have heard the Word, but have not allowed it to take root in their lives. The Word of God takes root in our lives when we become doers, practicing and applying the Word on a daily basis. To become the ‘complete woman’ God has created within us requires consistent feeding upon His Words because they are spirit, and they are life.”
